A bicycle rusty skeleton found in a bush, near the house of my father’s relatives.
I take the opportunity given by this moody image to invite you to an exhibition of my photographs, which will take place at the Circolo Degli Artisti, in Rome, on next April 26th, 2009.
The images are the concrete fruit of an ambitious project written by Paoloreste Gelfo, and realized together with him over the past few weeks.
We visited the house of some families, where he invited adult daughters and sons to lie in the arms of their mothers and fathers, leading them back to childhood, by his own peculiar sensitivity. This emotional journey has brought out nine images, showing nine different couples, in an unique moment. More information about other events and performances which will take place, and addresses and contacts can be found on the Circolo Degli Artisti website.
On a (un)totally unrelated matter, I’d like to dedicate today’s image to my young friend Vanderlei.
Born in italy in 1976
