A fisheye lens gives you the impression that you can see more of the surrounding reality. It reveal the subjectivity of your normal sense of prospective (something that you would usually consider objective).
If you are so smart to walk looking through the lens without hitting everything around, you will be even able to see your own feet while you’re looking ahead. Common sense of tallness, wideness, nearness and farness is completely blown out.
