I think the title is actually explaining what’s behind this shot. I would be happier if I could write I set up my camera with proper filters and exposure, and I had been planning this shot for hours, but it wouldn’t be the truth. I was just taking an image of the heavy sky and the seastorm near the horizon: by the time the shutter released (blacking-out the viewfinder for just a third of second), the lightning falled, and I discover its presence only when checking the result in my camera display.
More ore less the same thing happened more than two years ago, in this previously posted shot.
About the postprocessing, I just worked a little on contrasts and toning and I’m quite happy with the final result, let me know what you think.
