And then I met her. She was posing for a portrait, in front of an painter. I stood behind the artist, and when she looked at me I asked with a minimal gesture to take a shot.
She slightly smiled at me with an expression that I perceived as a “why not?”. I think she looks very natural here, even if knowing I was portraiting her, and I’d like every people portraiting could happen with the same natural exchange between people. No need to speak, at all.
Update: I was thinking that the solution could be: everytime you go hunting portraits bring with you your camera and a painter to stand behind … 😉
